How About Developing Your Own PlayStation Mini?

The contest will have entrants pitching game ideas to Swedish outfit The Bearded Ladies Consulting via the PlayStation forums. The winning entries will then be voted on by the PlayStation community, and finally implemented into a real PlayStation Mini.

“Every Friday from now, for eight weeks, we will post a new challenge to the community on the official PlayStation forums,” said EU PlayStation Blog manager James Gallagher. “The following Friday, the top 5-10 submissions will be presented in an open vote on The Bearded Ladies Facebook page, which will last until Sunday.

“The winning submission will be included in the game and the creator will be credited in the game credits.”

The first challenge requires fans to dream up a hero for the game. He'll need some kind of special ability. There are examples and further entry requirements available on the PlayStation Blog. Good luck to all those planning on entering.
