Long forgotten means not very good, right? Otherwise it wouldn't be forgotten. Turns out we've never heard of Techland's Dead Island before. Apparently it was announced in 2007. We don't remember so, yes, long forgotten is apt. But why didn't we report on the trailer when it was released yesterday? Well, because we were told the game was an XBOX 360 and PC exclusive. Turns out that's not correct, and Dead Island is indeed a PlayStation 3 game too. Yeah, top communication Deep Silver.

Whatever. The trailer is very poignant. If the whole thing's like those little girl levels in Siren: Blood Curse, then we're totally on board. Apparently the actual game is a first-person melee combat affair, similar, presumably, to Condemned. Colour us intrigued.
