Insomniac Games officially lifted the curtain on Resistance 3's competitive multiplayer mode last week, revealing a slimmed down, more "intimate" mode compared to the previous game's bombastic 60-player epics

This first gameplay footage shows off component for the first time, highlighting the personal tone of Resistance 3's claustrophobic maps. The animation looks like it could use a bit of spit and polish, but we love the sound effects and general user-interface.

Insomniac's still got five months or so to cook this in the oven. We're certain it's going to come out golden.
