A voucher will be included with new copies of the game to allow players to hop online for free. Those buying second-hand will have to purchase a voucher from the PlayStation Store however. According to Joystiq a new voucher will cost $10.
Pre-owned purchasers will however get a two-day trial of the multiplayer, which should be enough to whet their appetite. From then onwards they'll have to pay.
Mortal Kombat will be the first Warner Bros title to feature an online pass, and may open the door for Batman: Arkham City and F.E.A.R. 3 to include similar measures.
