Im now a ps plus person so I may check out the beta this weekend.
Just keep in mind, while initially the download is about 750 MB, if I recall, that is followed by a small patch, then another 1500+ MB download.
But I do think it's worth it. This is my kind of game, and it's always nice to try before you buy. In limited play, I didn't experience any problems.
yeah 2.25 gb might be a bit much to download, I think i'll just rent the game when it comes out.
Trust me this game is worth every second of download that it needs! I played the beta with the sharpshooter and in 3D and holy crap it blew my freaking socks off how good it looked & played ! I didn't think a 3rd person shooter would work well with move or in 3d, but man was I wrong. This has to be the best looking ps3 3d game to date with beautiful 3d graphics and a solid framerate that never dipped down below 30FPS. Better than KZ3! Sharpshooter still had it's difficulty with navigating but a new move control "quick turn" helped, just need to practice to get good with it. But sharpshooter is oh so fun & satisfying to shoot someone with online.
I've downloaded the beta but haven't tried it out yet. Been very busy playing Killzone 3 online with Move Sharpshooter, currently ranked Colonel. My best kill to death ratio in any match was 22:4. I would not even get anywhere close to this ratio if I was playing with the Dualshock. The Move sharpshooter is hands down the winner in FPS games like Killzone and upcoming Socom.
