You may remember LG was granted a preliminary injunction against Sony over an infringement on Blu-ray technology, but reports coming out of InsideGamer state that has now been lifted.
Latest reports suggested that 300,000 PlayStation 3 consoles had been seized and stored in Holland by the local authorities. Those systems have now been released, with LG apparently being hit by 130,000 fee to cover Sony's legal fees.
IP activist Florian Mueller did however caution: This means Sony can resume the distribution of PlayStations across Europe for now, but there will be a full-fledged legal proceeding to determine whether there is an infringement and if so, how much Sony owes LG for it.
