The ongoing assembly line of Sony first-person shooters and their accompanying betas and demos is a smart move on Sony's part, keeping gamers engaged with a constant supply of anticipation-building action. Just as gamers who picked up Killzone 3 got access to the SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs beta, so those who purchase the full game will get access to try Resistance 3 before its launch.
As with previous betas, there will be a scaled roll-out for Insomniac's third shooter, encompassing PlayStation Plus subscribers and regular Joe PSN members too. We'll find out more about when the beta will start and what it will include after the launch of SOCOM next week, but if past betas are anything to go by then Move control is a shoe-in.

This is a smart move indeed. Sony needs to keep this up to get more sells. Loved Resistance serious and will definately be purchasing Resistance 3 now that's it in 3D and Move support.
god Resistance 3 is gonna be glorious...Resistance 2 ++ presentation with (hopefully) as ambitious a story as the PSP Resistance game had and I'm on board for a day-one buy.
Im just depressed that resistance 3 didn't get a co-op mode, like R2 did. It was and still is a stand out feature and will play it for a very longtime. I hear that there will be an online 2 player story mode though. I wonder if it will be drop in drop out?
Crazy game!!! Def next level up.
