We recently told you about the SOCOM 4 "Pro" Access Code to be included in the American release of SOCOM 4: U.S. Navy SEALs (known as SOCOM: Special Forces in Europe).
Following in the footsteps of EA and THQ, the code is a once-use only affair that limits online access for gamers who pick up the game pre-owned, while also granting access to additional multiplayer modes and weapons. Now we can reveal European gamers do not require this code to play the game online.
Whether or not players in Europe will still be able to access the extra content isn't yet confirmed, but those wanting to pick the game up pre-owned won't have to pay for the ability to play online.
Which territory's version do you prefer?

You misunderstand how Socom Pro works. All it does is get members access to additional content that may or may not get released as DLC for non-members to buy at a later date. It is NOT required to play the game online.
American players get this for free with a new copy of Socom 4 U.S. Navy SEALs. Europeans and Australians don't, and we have gotten no word as to if we ever will, even if we have to pay for it.
