Are Mass Effect and Battlefield Coming to NGP?

EA recently forecasted its scheduled 2012 releases, and under the listings for Mass Effect 3 and Battlefield 3 the company revealed that handheld versions of the games are planned.

EA did not reveal which platform the games would be released on, but seeing as the NGP can already port existing PS3 games to its hardware rather easily, the NGP would seem like a smart choice when picking a portable platform.

Of course, there is the possibility of a mobile iOS version of these two games, or perhaps a 3DS version.

Still, roaming through space from your couch and then continuing that adventure on the bus seems like an awesome idea. Here’s hoping EA and Sony can make it happen.
