Proving once again that any online service is susceptible to attacks, websites for Eidos and Deus Ex were hacked over night, compromising the data of just under 100,000 users. Unbelievably, of that data over 9,000 resumes were stolen. The hack was believed to have been undertaken by a rogue entity of Anonymous.
As bad as the compromised data sounds, it actually gets worse. KrebsOnSecurity has posted chatlogs from the supposed culprits, discussing whether or not they should release the "src". While this is likely just the website's source code, there is some fear the hackers might have got hold of the source code for the upcoming Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Presumably we don't need to tell you how much of a disaster that would be.
