It's not long until the PlayStation Store is back now, and as part of its promised "Welcome Back" programme Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced the games affected users will be able to choose from as compensation.
Users across Europe can choose two of the following PS3 games:
- LittleBigPlanet
- Infamous
- Wipeout HD/Fury
- Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty
- Dead Nation
Gamers in Germany will be frustrated not to be offered Infamous and Dead Nation, receiving Super StarDust HD and Hustle Kings instead.
PSP owners can select two of the following titles:
- LittleBigPlanet PSP
- ModNation PSP
- Pursuit Force
- Killzone Liberation
Again, German players have a different line-up, with Pursuit Force and Killzone Liberation swapped in favour of the extremely similar Everybody's Golf 2 and Buzz Junior Jungle Party. You're welcome, Germany.
Sony has more details on the programme at the official PlayStation Europe blog. What will you be downloading as part of your Welcome Back pack?

Definitely getting inFamous. My other choice is between Deadnation and Wipeout.
Then enjoy those extra games, @Roopa132
For me it's inFAMOUS and LittleBigPlanet, two games I always meant to get but never did. Perhaps I should buy a PSP as well, though I'd want Killzone Liberation and Everybody's Golf 2. Drat.
inFAMOUS for sure, now just a toss up between Wipeout and R&C.
Definately be getting infamous. gotta add as well that sony have suprised me with this. I presumed we'd get network or mini games instead of full releases. Kudos for Sony! Definately better than M$ laughable Carcassone arcade game they gave for free when live went down for a couple of weeks a few years back
I have heard a few gamers complaining about the games on this list and I am finding it hard to see where they are coming from. The only people I feel empathy for are those gamers that are so into their PS3 and PSP collections that they already own all of the games available as 'Welcome Back' freebies.
I think that every single one of the main EU list of games are top-quality and even though I own three-quarters of the titles on the list, I will still be downloading Ratchet and Clank: Quest for Booty and Dead Nation on PS3, as well as LittleBigPlanet and ModNation on PSP, when the PS Store is back up.
I for one am massively grateful to Sony, I see these freebies as not only being generous but perfectly timed, because money is tighter than squeezing the Millennium Falcon through the Death Star's trench run in our house at the moment.
Nice one, Sony!
