As we explained earlier, the primary mechanic is Starhawk's "Build And Battle" component, which brings dynamic real-time strategy into the game's mix of third-person shooting and flight combat.
We're not entirely convinced by the game's grungy art aesthetic, but the gameplay looks stellar. The ground combat has been treated to a much needed overhaul, while the in-air action looks as fun and fluid as ever. Even more exciting, the Warhawks actually transform into mechs this time, making it really easy to switch between the ground and air.
