As You Were: Gears Of War Is Still Not Coming To The PS3.

There had been some speculation that Epic would make the franchise multiplatform once its exclusive publishing deal expired with Microsoft. Curiously, Epic retains full rights to the Gears Of War franchise so can feasibly do whatever it wants with the series.

"I would say in the foreseeable future there's zero chance of Gears of War being on the PlayStation 3," Bleszinski told IndustryGamers. "Can we bury that now?

"Seriously. It's like, we have a great deal with Microsoft, they're a great partner..."

We were one of the few publications predicting a Gears Of War for PlayStation Vita announcement ahead of E3. Seems like we got that totally wrong. Still, it's interesting to see Bleszinski rule out the PlayStation 3 and not the brand in general. We still reckon there's a chance of Gears Of War coming to Vita. We have to stick by our prediction, innit.
