Sony Could Still Make Slight Adjustments To The PlayStation Vita's Design.

While Yoshida explained that the hardware shown at E3 "was basically fine," he added that small changes could still be made. Erm, get on with it Sony — you need to be manufacturing this thing so we can get our grubby mitts all over it.

Most likely to change is button placement, something Sony is currently seeking feedback on from various third-parties.

Elsewhere in the interview, Yoshida revealed that Vita almost launched without its rear touch-pad. The feature was originally rejected due to cost concerns, but apparently Sony changed its mind after testing the feature. Some rumours suggest Little Deviants was the game to twist Sony's arm.

According to Yoshida, development of the PlayStation Vita started in spring 2009. The platform holder has been iterating since then.

Can we buy one now please Sony?
