On one hand, it must be extremely satisfying to see your ideas brought to life in front of you. But on the other hand, it must be a serious creative challenge. Great ideas flourish at good teams, but they don't always grow on trees.

Thus it's interesting to observe the process Lightbox Interactive adopted for its upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive, Starhawk. While a number of the ideas in Starhawk are born out of the concepts already established in Warhawk, the game is set in a vast new sci-fi universe.
