The time of the year where publishers of not-quite-blockbuster-games delay their big fall releases because of the looming threat of Call Of Duty and Uncharted and Batman and Battlefield. 2K Games' The Darkness II is the first notable title to be pushed out of its release window, presumably for marketing reasons. The title will now release in February, as opposed to its original October window.

If you happen to be heading to Comic-Con this weekend, you'll be able to check out The Darkness II for yourself. Apparently there'll be eight playable kiosks at Top Cow's booth, as well as a panel about the game on July 21st.
