Don't move. They can't detect motion controls.

One of the PSVita's most alluring new features is it dual cameras, capable of creating some pretty impressive augmented reality. We've already seen how games like Reality Fighters can project street brawls into backyards, tabletops and looming cityscapes, and a video posted by Sony a while back gave us a brief glimpse of an AR T-Rex, proving you don't need a mosquito trapped in amber to resurrect the reptilian giant. Just a PlayStation Vita.

Now a YouTube account by the name of Okpa Productions has posted even more AR demos, showcased at the recent Game Tools and Middleware event in Tokyo. The first video walks us through the system's face recognition software, used to project avatars onto your face, while the other gives us lengthier glimpse at the T-Rex.
