Del Toro's inSANE Is A Sandbox Game

While Guillermo Del Toro announced his video game project with THQ last year, it's still at least a year away

inSANE's 'Lovecraftian In A Sick Way'. Oooh.

But with that release date ambling forward, at least the game's starting to emerge from secrecy a touch.

Speaking with MTV, Del Toro revealed that inSANE is a sandbox title, which makes sense given the titles Volition has developed in the past (Saints Row for one).

Del Toro also told MTV about what to expect from the horror title. Apparently the game is "Lovecraftian in a sick way". The creatures in particular are "obscenely fun and unique", with Guy Davis penning the art.

But that's all for now. inSANE, after all, isn't due out until 2013.
