Butler's Off To Work For His Uncle's Economy Flooring Company. (Apparently.)

The fictional character executive revealed on his Twitter account overnight that he is leaving PlayStation in order to head up his Uncle's economy flooring company.

Butler even updated his Twitter profile picture to reflect the change. Whether this is a comical end to Kevin Butler's reign as PlayStation spokesperson, or the start of a new viral campaign is hard to say. We must admit, we'd be sad to see Butler go though. After a short break from the character's arrogant commercials, we were sort of hoping he'd be making a comeback soon. It's not like the campaign hasn't been wildly successful for Sony.

The last message from Butler thanked followers for their well-wishes. An SCEA representative told us to "stay tuned" to Butler's new career.
