Eurogamer's reporting that Borderlands 2 is in development at Gearbox and is due to be announced by 2K Games soon -- presumably at Gamescom
According to Eurogamer's source, the game will launch on PlayStation 3 next year.
It's not the first we've heard of Borderlands 2 — the game has been rumoured for months, showing up on developer CVs and in hushed industry whispers.
Seeing as we adored the original Borderlands (enough to eventually platinum the game), we anticipate the sequel's announcement.
