The game first appeared as part of Sony's 2009 E3 press conference, where the company touted the game's exclusivity to the PlayStation 3 platform. Earlier in the year, Jack Tretton backed away from that statement, suggesting that the game might be multi-platform after all.
But regardless of its system status, we're still yet to see anything of Agent but a logo. That's changed this afternoon, thanks partially to the resume of Leigh Donoghue, an environmental artist who worked on Grand Theft Auto IV. Leigh's portfolio references a number of Rockstar projects, including Grand Theft Auto V.
But it's the inclusion of Agent artwork that's most intriguing. The screens appear to be incredibly early, but are still worthy of discussion. They focus on a staircase in a James Bond villain-esque environment.
Given that the work is dated from 2009, it's probably safe to assume Agent is a different looking project right now (if indeed it still exists). But it's nice to know that the game existed beyond a logo at one point though, eh?
