The Australian ratings board refused the release of the PS3 remake as the nation's new R18 rating has yet to go into effect.
The good news is that the original Wii version of the game did get a release in Australia in 2009, meaning SEGA must have gone absolutely nuts with the additional 'Extended Cut' levels. Either that or the ratings board wasn't paying attention last time around.
House Of The Dead: Overkill held the world record for the most swearing in a video game until Mafia II turned up last year. We'd be amazed if SEGA didn't even attempt to claim back the record with Extended Cut.
