Ubisoft confirmed today that it is bringing a total of six more games to the PlayStation Vita. The titles include a portable port of its upcoming Rayman Origins game, an Asphalt game, Dungeon Hunter: Alliance and a Vita version of Michael Jackson: The Experience.
Most interesting is the confirmation of Assassin's Creed, and an all new Lumines game. Lumines was one of the earliest hits for the PSP, pairing together rhythm and falling-block puzzle elements with beautiful 2D visuals. Lets hope it can deliver the same successful formula on PS Vita.
No official word yet on whether this portable Assassin's Creed is an all new entry in the franchise, but Ubisoft did promise "new iterations from its most popular franchises" in the announcement.

Some great stuff coming from Ubisoft. Can't wait for Rayman Origins and Lumines on Vita!
Rayman sounds great, but I'll have to see more from the Assassins creed game before I'm sold. I am kind of burnt out on the series after brotherhood failed to add much of anything from 2(and it lost the character's and stories' charm).
this just became even cooler
Goddamnit, with Lumines and Everybody's Golf all they need to announce is Monster Hunter and I'm on board just like I was with PSP like a chump.
I'll pass on Dungeon Hunter, waiting for Blizzard to make up their twisted mind and bring Diablo III to Vita: Sony's new handheld has all the technical grunt it needs to run a worthwhile version of the game and manage its online auction system. Anyway, I'd settle for a new version of Dungeon Siege as well, as Throne of Agony on the PSP was a fantastic experience (loading times aside).
