Sony has some all-new PS Vita cases and cartridges on display at Tokyo Game Show this week, giving us a closer look at the plastic shells that will be adorning our shelves.
Sony is going with blue semi-transparent plastic for the case, much like those found on your everyday Blu-Ray movie. The cartridges themselves are small, akin to DS games, but have a slight curve in the plastic at the top. Vita is the first cartridge-based PlayStation console, but Sony is hedging its bets by making digital versions of the games available as well.
The rest of the games can be viewed over at Joystiq. So what's the verdict? Do you plan on sticking with physical media or will you be accumulating your PS Vita library digitally?

I will buy physical copy's as i always do. but if there's a game i can't get a physical copy of anymore or stuff like PS1 or PSP games then I download
I'm not a fan of the blue, though it doesn't matter to me.
I plan to buy games that I'm only going to play through once or twice physically, and download games that I will always come back to so they can be with me and ready at all times!
@hamispank You clever fox I myself am a sucker for a good, thick instruction booklet.
Definitely Physical, it's great to have the box and all the rest, it makes it seem like it's worth more!
I'll only pick up psyical copies of the large scale games like LBP and Uncharted. Considering they use a lot of space, I'd hate to have it use most of my memory card xP
I don't like the blue, but then again, when the PS3 brought out their (slight) redesign for their cases, I didn't like those. Now I love the PS3 cases, so I'll give these time.
As for physical vs digital, normally I would get digital because I've had instances where the physical game got damaged or lost (I lost like 3 PSP games when I moved to the states). However, the (stupidly) high cost of Sony's new proprietary memory sticks and the lack of decent internal memory (if there is any at all, I can't remember) has me leaning more towards physical copies for my games, to save that expensive memory space for my videos, music, pics, and demos.
Physical is cool (especially if you can buy it used for cheaper later on). BTW, does anyone know if the Vita will have a slot for MEMSTICK DUOs? I'd like to know if I need to stop buying that medium that I currently use for my PSP. it'd be nice to continue w/ those so that I can continue to watch my DVD rips of those as well as play my psp DLC games (Metal Gear games for PS1/PSP, FFVII, FrontMission3, etc...) Will they accomidate the standard size memstick duos or will they have us buy the "micro" versions to transfer our content over to for the vita?
@rh0gii, I know that the Vita won't support the Duo, you'll need to buy the new, specially made Vita memory sticks. The 4GB stick will run you about $30-ish while the 32 GB will be about $120-ish, I think (from converting the Japanese pricing to US dollars, so they could change).
But once you get the cards, you shouldn't have an issue with your games and movies. I'm sure that the Vita can connect to a computer, and you can just copy your movies there. Plus, the games should still be on your PSN account, so no worries.
I greatly favour boxed games over digital ones. Too bad for those who will have to buy those overpriced peripherals at launch...
Do they really need a box that big for a DS cartridge? o.o
I love having the physical game. I just feel instant gratification when I walk into a store and buy a game.
Yep, physical copy for me too. I love walking over to my bookcase and looking over my collection wondering what game I'll play next. Selecting a game from a dropdown menu just doesn't have that same feeling of ownership.
