We were looking forward to exploring the mysteries of Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle later this year, but publisher Reef Entertainment has decided to delay disembarking until February next year.
Citing "critical and fan feedback", Reef's commercial director Craig Lewis says:
This is a very important launch for Reef Entertainment and we wanted to ensure that the game would meet the expectations of ‘So Blonde’ fans and new customers alike. However, following the feedback from fans and from our focus groups, we found there were a number of issues, including areas of the English voice acting, which needed to be addressed.
So while the game now won't release until 3rd February next year, it should be a higher quality of product all around. Everybody wins.
CAPTAIN MORGANE AND THE GOLDEN TURTLE UK LAUNCH MOVES TO FEBRUARY 2012
Reef Entertainment and Wizarbox have announced that the UK launch of Captain Morgane and the Golden Turtle on PS3, PC, Nintendo Wii and Nintendo DS has been put back to 3rd February 2012.
The reason for the reschedule came from focus group and fan feedback received during the build up to the Q4 2011 launch.
Craig Lewis, Commercial Director of Reef Entertainment said; “This is a very important launch for Reef Entertainment and we wanted to ensure that the game would meet the expectations of ‘So Blonde’ fans and new customers alike. However, following the feedback from fans and from our focus groups, we found there were a number of issues, including areas of the English voice acting, which needed to be addressed. We’ve therefore taken the decision to revise the game and as a consequence the UK launch has been rescheduled. But we’re pleased to announce that we’re on course for the Q4 2011 launch in France and Italy, with the remaining European markets following shortly afterwards. We’d like to thank everyone for their feedback and comments and we look forward to the launch in February 2012.”

Wow! At first I was a little upset, but the whole "English voice acting" bit sold me. Usually that's the last thing that games worry about. If Reef is looking to make the game that polished, I think I can wait.
