You can still give your co-operative partner a big slap. But something's been missing from LittleBigPlanet 2's end-of-level experience for some time. The scoreboards have been offline. But according to a post on the LittleBigPlanet forums, the feature will return tomorrow.
"As you know, for quite some time now the scoreboards for LittleBigPlanet have been offline. We took them down because people were using a nasty exploit that allowed them to cheat the scoreboards and give themselves ridiculously high scores. Rather than have the scoreboards ruined forever, we opted to switch them off until we could make sure that issue was properly resolved," a Media Molecule staffer wrote.
"Im very happy to tell you that at 9:00am UK Time tomorrow (Wednesday 26th October), the servers will go offline for a few hours, and when they come back up the LBP2 scoreboards will once again work, hurrah!"
Media Molecule was keen to point out the rollout will only apply to LittleBigPlanet 2 for the time-being, with the original game's scoreboards staying in hiatus for the time being.
