Machinarium is coming to PlayStation Network next year in what developer Amanita Design says is "the definitive version" of the game, but Amanita founder Jakub Dvorský isn't a full convert to the Move controls yet.
Speaking to Eurogamer, Dvorský revealed he's sticking with DualShock over the game's optional motion controls:
For me it's even better with the usual game pad controller because it's very easy to control this game with a game pad. We integrated a magnetic feature so when you are moving around a hotspot with the thumb stick it magnetises. It's quite easy to navigate and control the game. There are also more buttons for opening the inventory and for zooming.
If even the game's developer prefers playing it with dual analogue, will its Move controls impress us when it's released in February? We'll have to wait and see.

Hmm... I would have thought that Move would easily trump the DS3, but the magnetic feature addition to the DS3 does make sense, seeing as how the PC version of the game can get a bit testy when some objects that are usable aren't always easily recognized.
I'm looking forward to playing this version nevertheless and I'd love to see the magnetic option available with Move as well.
