Ninja Gaiden Sigma Slashes Onto PS Vita In Japan This February

There's a lot of games confirmed for PlayStation Vita, but very few of them involve cutting a man's head off with a sword

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus certainly looks sharp.

Thankfully fans of beheading won't have to wait long to get their fix, with Team Ninja confirming that its PlayStation Vita update of Ninja Gaiden Sigma is slashing onto Sony's new handheld this coming February in Japan.

The game — officially entitled Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus — includes Ninja Gaiden 3's 'Hero Mode' in addition to repurposed controls designed specifically for the PlayStation Vita.

"Being a portable device, players will want to play it in smaller chunks. Were going to incorporate the play style from Ninja Gaiden 3 into Ninja Gaiden Sigma," said Yosuke Hayashi in an interview with Siliconera. "It will feel different than Ninja Gaiden 3, but if you play both you can enjoy everything Ninja Gaiden has been and is now."
