Konami's The Simpsons Arcade Game is fondly regarded as one of the best side-scrolling brawlers of all time.

The rating lists Backbone Entertainment as the developer and Konami as the publisher — meaning the game's very likely to be the original arcade release rather than EA's hokey iOS spin-off.

Backbone previously worked on porting Konami's X-Men arcade game to PlayStation Network.

Konami's not commented on the rating, but as with the Jak & Daxter Collection overnight — you can pretty much confirm the game is legit the moment one of these classifications pops up.
