The device — which is set to launch in North America this weekend — not only boasts affordable 3D gaming (at $499.99), but also features Sony's SimulView technology, designed to provide full-screen local multiplayer on the same device.
In order to commemorate the release, the PlayStation Blog's published an informative video fronted by the lovely Abby Reyes. The 3D display comes bundled with a pair of glasses, MotorStorm: Apocalypse and an HDMI cable. Additional glasses will run you $69.99.
