It's not just SCEA that's gone through a re-imagining of its marketing strategy lately — SCEE's jumped on board too. And there's definitely a hint of the "old" PlayStation marketing message in this new European PlayStation Move commercial.
The 60-second spot shows an unreasonably attractive couple rushing through an exciting and cinematic landscape. Brand manager Leon Sanders explained on the PlayStation Blog that Sony wanted to get away from the "smiles and bright white living rooms" of other motion gaming ads.
It's a good commercial — with some killer music in the middle — but without any gameplay we have to wonder if it will have much impact on unaware consumers.
