Mega-blog Kotaku's just gone live with a report regarding the successor to EA's Army Of Two franchise, claiming that a new entry in the co-operative shooter series is in development.
According to the website, the latest Army Of Two will feature four player co-op (Army Of Four?) and is being developed using DICE's top-notch Frostbite 2 engine.
Unfortunately, that's all Kotaku has to share about the game.
The original Army Of Two launched back in 2008 and was followed up by Army Of Two: The 40th Day last year. It'd be wise to put money on a sequel releasing in 2012.
