In a brand new trailer, the publisher's shown off the secret to survival in combat encounters. There's some cool mechanics on show here — such as the way in which drawing a weapon forces foes to surrender, and how stealth is a pivotal means of reserving your resources.

Improvisation, according to the trailer, is key. Let's hope that I Am Alive is intelligent enough to allow us to truly think on our feet, otherwise its sandbox approach to combat may fall flat on its face.
