The blog — registered by a group linked to the viral marketing scheme behind Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City — contains photographs of a number of real-world locations, each bearing the slogan: "No Hope Left". Some of the images include biohazard symbols, while others include a date — 19th January, 2012.
Locations for the images include London, Tokyo and Berlin. China is also represented, which would coincide with rumours we've already heard about Resident Evil 6.
TheSixthAxis actually hunted down the location of the London image and contacted the advertising agency responsible for putting up the hoarding. The website was told that the advertiser responsible was Capcom.
To add further fuel to the fire, Capcom's holding an event in San Francisco tomorrow (January 19th) to celebrate the Resident Evil franchise. An additional event will take place in Tokyo on January 20th.
It's not confirmation by any means, but everything seems to be slotting together nicely. This time tomorrow, we might, just might, be talking about Resident Evil 6. And that's something that excites the hell out of us.
