With Vita's focus on digital downloads, both of full retail titles and smaller indie-style releases, it's clearly important for a solid group of high-quality developers to support the platform. There's been some positive news on that front today, with confirmation that Australian developer Nnooo has been approved for development and publication on Vita.
Making the announcement on its blog page, Nnooo confirmed that it had been working on accreditation for a while, and that it was now close to deciding what its first Vita title will be. With various iterations of its Pop franchise appearing on Nintendo and Apple platforms, as well as the excellent escapeVektor: Chaper 1 on WiiWare, the developer has some solid existing titles suitable for Vita.
Alternatively Nnooo may develop a new IP, but we'll watch for any announcements.

Good news indeed. I'm loving all of the indie support the Vita is getting and I can't wait to see what the guys at Nnooo have up their sleeves for the system.
Pop is... fun, I guess. It is nice to see someone familiar working on the Vita :3
I hope its not just Pop or the Notebook thing though....
Nooooooo... Oops... I mean, Yesssss!
What with the memory card situation being what it is, I don't feel that the Vita is focussed on digital downloads at all. At least not at launch.
