Microsoft’s irritating exclusivity period is over, and Activision’s taken to the PlayStation Blog to confirm that Call Of Duty: Elite subscribers will get their first taste of Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 DLC before the month is out.
As previously announced, the DLC will bundle two multiplayer maps named Liberation and Piazza.
Piazza is set in a seaside village which provides the “perfect battleground for fans of close-quarters combat” while Liberation is a much more open affair.
The maps mark the start of Activision’s ongoing Modern Warfare 3 post-release strategy, which is set to gift players with new content on a monthly basis.

I would be all over this but... MW3's maps are absolute crap. A first in the series. And I'm saying I'm bad at the game, no. I'm talking poor layouts, small open spaces, all piled onto dark, ugly visuals. MW3's predecessor's are immensely superior in that aspect.
I don't expect the $15 DLC maps to be any better, sadly.
