Sony’s released a new firmware update for the PlayStation 3. Version 4.10 – which is available to download now – includes a new terms of service to reflect the PlayStation Network’s absorption into the Sony Entertainment Network.
In more exciting news, the update also brings improvements to the system’s web browser, promising faster loading pages and more accurate displays. If you use the PS3’s web browser as much as we do – which is to say a lot – then you’ll probably understand our excitement.
The download takes about five minutes, so keep that in mind before you sit down to play some games tonight.

I updated last night and the first thing I did was try out the "new and improved" web browser. I couldn't tell the difference. Fortunately the only time I use the web browser is checking for blog postings about the store update b/c Sony won't give us a time and the update has a window of about 9 hours. I'm in the US, so I don't know how well the EU store is updated.
@rjejr The store situation is the same here I'm afraid.
The web browser is definitely better, though still not really up to snuff. Sites like Twitter now actually work though, which is nice.
They actually updated the browser? No way, I won't believe it lol. Seems too little too late really.
Just updated but I never use the browser any ways.
@ShogunRok Perhaps. I use the browser ALL THE TIME though, so I appreciate any improvements.
The browser was always fine for me.
I've never even tried the browser.
Tried the browser once before and it crashed on me, never opened it again.
