Yesterday we were elated to learn that Konami's classic The Simpsons Arcade Game would be given away as part of February's PlayStation Plus offering — but we might have known there'd be a snag
According to the official PlayStation Twitter account, the game's been pushed back a week due to a request from the publisher.
Sadly, we are now unable to publish The Simpsons Arcade in PS Plus until Wednesday 8 February, and not today as listed, revealed the update.
The PlayStation Blog's Ross McGrath continued: Konami have contacted us this morning and informed us that The Simpsons Arcade will need to publish on February 8th to be in line with the games release on XBOX Live Arcade and in SCEA.
Unfortunately, this is not something I have the power to change and it means you wont be able to get your hands on The Simpsons until next week February 8th. Believe me, Im as disappointed as you are.
Thankfully, the game will still be free for a full four weeks when it finally does arrive.

Well, that is unfortunate but at least it is still coming out and even better it will be free to PS Plus users. I can't wait to get this game!
I know it wouldn't be free but will non PS+ people being able to get the game?
