There’s just one more month to wait before Ronimo unleashes the awesome that is, er, Awesomenauts onto the PlayStation Network. The developer has attached a 1st May release date to the multiplayer title in North America, with a European release set to follow on 2nd May.
The game’s big selling point is its 2D perspective and excellent 80s cartoon art-style. It’ll be playable at PAX East next week if you happen to be in the US and attending. The game will cost $10 upon release.
Awesome, Awesome, AWESOME... NAUTS! Lasers will burn, Robots will scream and Monkeys will fly! The intergalactic band of heroes is finally ready to be launched onto Xbox Live Arcade and the Sony Entertainment Network!
Present your Space Calendars and mark the following dates:-On May 1st the game will launch on the PlayStation 3 in North America. On May 2nd it will launch everywhere else, on both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
The game will also be playable at PAX East on April 6th, 7th and 8th. Drop by booth #754 to get a hands-on!
For those surprised by this sudden burst of Awesomeness, it's about a game. A downloadable game. An awesome downloadable game that contains backstabbing chameleons, giant exploding robots and yes, laser wielding flying monkeys.
These heroes battle it out in teams of three in split-screen and/or online! In this sidescrolling MOBA they will be blasting enemy robots and heroes, upgrading their gear and destroying enemy structures on their way to victory!

Doesn't look unbelievably impressive. But it could truly be awesome. But I seriously have no idea why companies don't bring PSN games to Vita at the same time they bring them to PS3.
Because it requires more testing and QA approval, and smaller teams can't always make that happen.
Anyway, looking forward to giving this a spin: Ronimo has a good track record.
:3 That actually looks like fun.
Awesome!
What's a MOBA? This looks a lot like Castle Crashers but full of color. I'll have to find out more but very promising indeed.
MOBA is a multiplayer online... er... blasting... action?
I've had a quick go on this. It's weird.
Multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA). Dota and LoL are the most known MOBA style games out there. This looks great, however I still wish they'd port it to the vita. So many awesome PSN games, and so few that are available for (or coming to) the vita...
