We only recently found out SEGA's Phantasy Star Online 2 is coming to Vita, although the publisher deflated our hopes of playing it this year by saying it's only 10% complete. Still, to say it's got a gruelling 90% of development ahead, it looks pretty good already.
SEGA released these screenshots of the game following a press event in Japan, at which it also revealed the game will be free to play online, doing away with the paid-for Hunter's Licence required to play other PSO games online. PC and Vita players can play against each other with cross-platform play.
At the moment SEGA's only talking about a Japanese release for PSO 2. Stay tuned for more.
