Shepard sells

We doubt anyone will be surprised to learn that Mass Effect 3 has shot straight to the top of the UK charts. The Bioware developed space opera outsold all of the previous four number ones – Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, UFC Undisputed 3, Uncharted: Golden Abyss and SSX – combined. The threequel also outsold its previous two debuts combined.

Elsewhere, Street Fighter X Tekken fought its way into third, while SSX held onto the second spot.
