Konami’s curious attempt for a hat-trick of Silent Hill releases appears to have ended with a disappointing brace. The Japanese publisher had originally intended to release Silent Hill Downpour, the Silent Hill HD Collection and the isometric Vita exclusive Silent Hill: Book of Memories all in March – but US retailers are now indicating that the latter has been pushed until 31st May.
While that’s likely a placeholder date, the fact that multiple US outlets have adopted it suggests that they are privy to some additional information.
Seeing as we still know very little about Book of Memories, we guess this delay makes sense. Besides, three Silent Hills in a single month is too much as far as we’re concerned.

Everyone seems to hate this game, yet nobody really knows anything about it. While I assume it will fail miserably as a horror game, who's to say it wont be an enjoyable multiplayer romp? God knows the Vita needs some multiplayer love. Looking forward to seeing more about this.
I'm beyond hooked on Silent Hill Downpour. While this likely won't be much of a survival horror game, I have hopes that it becomes the first 'true' survival horror game. There's a first time for everything.
@nathanuc1988: I'm just shocked that the official trailer on YouTube has easily 4x as many dislikes as it does likes. I for one am looking forward to it. It has a lot of potential from what I've seen, and it may be a great Vita title to get. nod
