Following on from our report earlier this evening, Sony has confirmed that the Ratchet & Clank Collection is coming to PlayStation 3. The game will arrive on 16th May in Europe as the Ratchet & Clank Trilogy. North American gamers will be made to wait until the Fall.
Insomniac Games’ Ted Price explained:
I know it’s a little bit later than the Spring European release, but it’s because we have something very special planned for our North American fans to celebrate the 10th anniversary, and we’ll share all the details very soon.
The collection will feature all three original PS2 Ratchet & Clank titles re-mastered in high-definition with trophies and 3D support. As previously reported, Ratchet & Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal’s multiplayer component will be tweaked to work over the PlayStation Network.
Feel free to share your excitement in the comments.

Yyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyeeeeeeees! This is the best news in ages!
Excellent. Never played them, and I enjoyed the demos for the PS3 games.
Fantastic. But all of these HD remakes should be on the Vita too....
hooray! I love the sound of NA getting something special...
I'll definitely be getting this!
I hope North America gets Deadlocked as well.
I'd get this but the games would be a really bland experience compared to the more recent games. Might be a good starting point for someone who never played the games before though.
