Futurlab’s promising PlayStation Minis space shooter Velocity is headed to Sony’s digital storefront in May, the developer has announced. North American gamers will get to sample the teleporting blaster from 1st May, while Europeans will have to wait an extra day until 2nd May.
Futurlab’s managing director James Marsden said:
We are happy to say that May 1st and May 2nd are dates to put in the diary for PS Plus users in the US and EU respectively. We can’t wait for gamers to get their hands on Velocity, as the feedback we’ve had so far has been incredibly positive. The game looks and feels great on PlayStation Vita, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3!
Velocity will be exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers for a fortnight, before becoming available to regular PSN users.

I hate SHUMPS, mostly b/c I suck at them, and they tend to be short and repetitive. Imagine my surprise when I actually had fun playing this game. It's not really a SHMUP, it's a puzzle platformer. Who knew?
And thanks to the developers for letting me skip levels that were too hard for me, namely 4 and 10. That was a very pleasant surprise.
Sorry for posting on a month old story, ti was the newest available, and I rarely have anything good to say.
