This guy's not happy about all the leaks

After a series of leaks, EA has decided to stop being coy about the existence of Crysis 3. It sarcastically noted in a statement to Joystiq overnight:

The best kept secret in shooters just can't be contained. Stay tuned for more information on April 16.

Like its predecessor, the game will supposedly take place in New York again. Reports state that the city has become a “jungle” since the conclusion of the last game.

A tentative spring 2013 release date is touted for the shooter sequel. We’ll find out more about it next week.
