God of War: Ascension will be the first multiplayer God of War title, Sony's revealed.
The PS3-exclusive will offer online and offline multiplayer modes for up to eight players. We'll see more in a few hours during the God of War: Ascension live stream at the PlayStation Blog.

It already looks amazing, huh? Absolutely incredible. But multiplayer. I'm not sure...
I was surprisingly impressed by the multiplayer we've seen so far. It actually looks quite polished and unique. But a lot of people won't be happy about this, and with good reason for the most part. I mean, GoW and multiplayer just don't seem to go together. I don't think anyone saw this coming.
@get2sammyb Yea the god of war games are know for making you feel like a badass and giant combos. That would be hard if everyone is Kratos. Maybe you play as a normal weak solider or something and gain strength through kills . IDK
@Levelfailer Kratos isn't in multiplayer apparently!
@James That would make sense. I mean maybe if only one person can be him every one in a while like in star wars battle front two were you became a Jedi. Cause you could never do a combo on another Kratos and if you could the other person would never break free. Just a continuous chain.
I don't even like G-d of War, and I'm disappointed by this news.
I wish they would focus on a fresh and longer single player. Maybe add some kind of scoring system, and leader boards. Not really feeling what has been shown so far, but willing to give it a chance.
