There was a Mickey Mouse-shaped cloud raining over the Japanese sales charts this week, as Square Enix’s Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance cooed its way to the top spot.
It was joined by numerous iterations of Konami’s Pro Baseball Spirits series, as the PS3, PSP and PS Vita versions of the latest bat-and-ball entry all assaulted the software charts. The PS3 version fared best in second selling just over 90k units, while the PSP release settled for third and the Vita entry lingered in 11th.
It wasn’t the only Vita title to debut, as New Little King’s Story entered in 19th with 7,141 sales. The fresh software was enough to give Vita its first boost in weeks, driving the platform up by, er, 2,000 units to a respectable 12,105. Remember: up is definitely better than down.
Despite an influx of new games, the PS3 and PSP remained pretty static, selling 23k units and 18k units respectively. As for Nintendo 3DS... Well, see for yourself.

Any kind of a boost in sales right now is a good thing for the Vita, hopefully they get some more good Japanese-centric games soon to boost sales even more.
Japanese: please buy more New Little King's Story. Thank you.
Wii's Little King's Story Japan sales were way way lower than European or USA ones during three years in a row. Konami should take this into consideration and push the western localizations ASAP.
