With the impressive launch line-up now a distant memory, many new Vita adopters are beginning to ponder what’s next for the powerful handheld. Well, according to James Mielke, the producer of Lumines Electronic Symphony, there’s a lot of new games in development to look forward to.
In an interview with 1UP, he revealed:
The only thing that is going to hold Sony back from succeeding with the Vita is having the right games. And one of the benefits of working on the developer side in Japan is I know for a fact that they've got some games that, when they announce them, people are going to forget about all of the problems that they're imagining with the Vita.
Those are some strong words. Now the big question is: what exactly would you like to see?

I would love to see a truly great RPG on Vita. Something open world maybe, that could directly compete with home console RPGs. Plus, such a game would be great for Sony, since RPGs seem to be booming at the minute.
Just give me the goods at E3 Sony!
So while they have many major Vita games pending to be announced, Vita's sales go down in flames. If that's true, they better hurry up.
I've never been worried about games. I know there will be fantastic new games made for the Vita. The worry I am feeling is that my dreams of the cross platform/remote play was all fabricated. At the very least I want them to fix the very simple issues of allowing me to play the minis I own as a PS+ member, and PS1 games. And hopefully many more PSN games in the future will have remote play capabilities.

100% agreed
@ShogunRok If you've not yet played Disgaea III, then I highly recommend it!
I would love a Tactics Ogre Sequel, another old style FFT sequel (Not like the GBA and DS), VC 4 (that is similar to the original and the not the PSP ones), and maybe all The PSone Classics and remaining PSP games that are not yet compatible.
Dual release games would be nice for a start. It seems like they are afraid to support their own product via 1st party releases.
Where the hell is Twisted Metal 3 and other recent releases for at least cross platform You cannot tell me hey made a high powered handheld without it being a similar setup to program for like the PS3, so surely games wouldnt be hard to strip back a little and convert
