The ever-persistent rumour about a Smash Bros. for PlayStation-style experience has reared its head again, with PlayStation Lifestyle claiming to have acquired a survey pointing towards the name PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.
The last we heard, the game was working under the name Title Fight but PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is certainly a little more self-explanatory.
E3 is two months away so we just may get our first glimpse at the game then.

I'm really excited about this. I think we can assume it's real now. My hope is that they go really, really obscure with it.
PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale is a fine name — much better than Title Fight — but I still prefer GAF's suggestion, PlayStation Battle Opera.
That's quite a mouthful
I sure hope it's true
Let me play as Nathan Drake and we have a deal.
The title wouldn't surprise me after they trashed the perfectly good Heroes on the Move title just to throw the PlayStation brand in there.
But heck, if it plays enough like Smash Bros, I'd definitely get it. Make it too much like an average fighting game, forget it.
@get2sammyb: How obscure do you want? Tomba? They still haven't even bothered to put HIS games on PS1 Classics...
I wonder how much (if any) third-party content they'd allow...I think it'd be funny if Brawl has MGS1 Snake in it while this game gets Old Snake.
When I think of all the main Sony franchise players who may be in this my mind envisions a game that more closely resembles DOA than Smash Brothers. Not that the game would be bad, I just can't imagine playing it and thinking - "wow, this is just like Smash Brothers." I don't think I ever played MNR and thought "wow, this is just like Mario Kart" either.
I agree with stuffgamer1. Dont want it like an average fighter.
