We know you were chomping at the bit to download PS Vita’s latest firmware update and unlock access to anticipated features such as caps lock – but it looks like you’ll have to wait a little bit longer.
Sony has pulled the firmware from its servers citing a technical fault with the update. Product manager Adam Grant explained:
PS Vita system software update 1.65 has been taken down temporarily due to a technical fault. For any customers who may have already downloaded the firmware, they can continue as normal. We will notify you once the latest system software update is available to download again.
We’re sure you'll be messaging your friends in all caps before you know it.

But, I can already do the caps-lock thing, I just got the update yesterday, only me and Shadow got it?
I got mine and it caused some problems with Netflix lol. Had to re-enter my log in like 10 times for it to finally work....
I can only picture a bunch of Sony executives at a round table:
"We need to fix this security hole but if we release a firmware with no extra features, people will be upset.... so what should we add?....how about caps lock? Everyone cool with caps lock? Cool, caps lock it is"
lol. I really hope this wasn't the rumored April update that everyone was hoping would fix something useful. Come on! At the very least fix the PS+ minis issue.
Edit: Actually some people at the playstation blog that got the update before it was pulled are saying the update fixed the PS+ minis issue for them. I'll test it when I get home.
Lol I got the firmware
